Happy Diwali 2019 Celebrations, Fireworks, as we all know, is one of the oldest festivals of the modern world. Although it is an Indian festival, but it has grown vastly in last few decades and has become almost an international festival, owing to the fact that world has become global village and there are many major festivals which have been accepted globally. There are many reasons for Diwali to have become largely popular and celebrated festival.
Some of the reasons are as follows:
Large portion of the world population lives in India, and when India celebrates a festival, it automatically becomes huge, as major portion of world population is celebrating.There is presence of large Indian contingent in all the major countries of the world. They still have strong connection with the roots and they celebrate Diwali, no matter where they are living or which country there nationality presently belongs to.Big international companies have used all the festivals in the world as a good time to sell big, whether these companies deal in durable consumer goods or general gift items or whatever. Thus fierce marketing has made not only Diwali but all the festivals pretty big.
Diwali is not only celebrated by Hindus but also by Sikhs and many other religions of the world. People belonging to these religions are also present in every part of the world. Thus making Diwai an even bigger festival than it ever was.President Obama also has this habit of wishing people of the US on all the festivals. Thus when he said Happy Diwali on television, it bolstered the festival of Diwali.
Diwali is one of the most celebrated festivals around the world amongst the Hindus. People worship Goddess Laxmi for the prosperities of their own house. People celebrate this festival with fireworks and crackers which cause a lot of pollution. I request everyone to SAY NO TO CRACKERS as it will only harm our surroundings and in turn we will get affected by a lot of diseases like breathing problem etc. Thanks for reading this
